Are you bored off on using the same color night lamps?
Nightlights are useful to show the general layout of a room without turning on a major light, for avoiding tripping over stairs or obstacles, or to mark an emergency exit. Here is a simple multi-color night light circuit which holds five different colors. The different colors applied in this circuit are white, red, green, yellow & blue. It glows in a particular color as per your choice. It has a digital switch to select a particular color. Above all it consumes low power.Multi-color night light circuit
Three Leds of the same color are connected in series and are connected to 5 different outputs of johnson decade counter ic CD4017.
$ A momemtary switch is provided to choose a single color of our choice.
$ The circuit uses LDR to sense the light and will turn ON automatically when the bedroom light is switched OFF.
$ The brightness of the light can be controlled by a potentiometer.
$ Power consumption of this circuit is very low.
$ The circuit is powered by an external regulated 12V adaptor or by an inbuilt power supply.
